A
very big welcome to you from Kingdom Amateur Radio Society !
KARS started only in January this year but is proving to be a great
success and is growing well..
We meet every first and third Wednesday of the month at
the Scottish Scout Headquarters, Fordell Firs, Hillend, Dunfermline.
Visitors are, of course, most welcome but they must contact us on
visitors@kars.org.uk first.
We owe Scottish Scouts a big thank you for their support and we are
looking forward to providing a platform for new entrants to the hobby by
means of some joint activities such as
Jamboree On The Air 2008.
If you're interested in Amateur Radio but aren't sure what to do next
then drop us a line. You'll find on the website our 2008 programme. We hope that it has something for
everyone.

going up in the world !! See the picture (right) of our
antenna mast and the happy crew responsible for it being
there. Not everyone is shown - grateful thanks to Alex
GM3ZBE for the mast donation in the first place and to
all the volunteers who worked on making it straight
again (!), preparing
the site and installing it. |

KARS goes
well and truly international! A warm welcome goes

Oscar is the president of Radio Club Henares, a new club
in Madrid that has been very successful in its first two
years. We wish all at Radio Club Henares well and look
forward to some visits from their club members when they
can make it. |
